Author, Speaker, Founder and Investor in Supply Chain and Technology
Benjamin Gordon is a leading author, speaker, entrepreneur and investor. He focuses on supply chain and technology companies.
In 1976, the U.S. government began to deregulate transportation. It began with the Railroad Revitalization and Regulatory Reform Act. Trucks and airlines followed suit. As the laws changed, a new era of entrepreneurship began to blossom.
That same year, but 3,000 miles to the West, Steve Jobs formed Apple. The Information Age began. A wave of technological innovation followed suit.
Today, we see the convergence of deregulation and technology. The result is the modern supply chain.
Benjamin Gordon has spent his career building, advising, and investing in companies that reflect this convergence.
As an entrepreneur, Benjamin has founded four companies. His first startup was a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) logistics company called 3PLex, which is now a part of IBM. Another startup was an ecommerce marketplace for consumer electronics called EcoSquid, which is now a part of uSell.
As an advisor, Benjamin has helped many of the leading logistics and supply chain companies. He has worked with global giants like Agility Logistics, family-owned firms like NFI and GENCO, and private equity-backed platforms like Coyote Logistics and Converge.
As an investor, Benjamin has backed several successful companies in the supply chain world. He was an original co-investor in XPO with Founder and CEO Brad Jacobs. He invested in Grand Junction (since sold to Target). And he has supported many others.
Leading founders and CEOs turn to Benjamin for advice on how to create value in the supply chain sector.
